"Carol of the Bells" is a popular Christmas carol which is based on the Ukrainian song called "Shchedryk" (Ukrainian: Щедрик). The "Carol of the Bells" uses the original melody from "Shchedryk," written by the Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in 1914.

The original folk story related in the song was associated with the coming New Year, which, in pre-Christian Ukraine, was celebrated with the coming of spring in April. The original Ukrainian title translates to "the generous one" or is perhaps derived from the Ukrainian word for bountiful (shchedryj), and tells a tale of a swallow flying into a household to proclaim the bountiful year that the family will have.

With the introduction of Christianity to Ukraine and the adoption of the Julian calendar, the celebration of the New Year was moved from April to January, and the holiday with which the chant was originally associated became Malanka (Ukrainian: Щедрий вечір, Shchedry vechir), the eve of the Julian New Year (the night of January 13–14 in the Gregorian calendar). The songs sung for this celebration are known as Shchedrivky.

In this piece, I used three themes from Beethoven's sonatas:

1) Bars 1-2- from Sonata D Major for 4 hands op.6

2) Bars 17-18 from Sonata D Minor op.31 Nr.2 third movement

3) Bars 32-36 from Sonata C Minor op.13 third movement, but in major.

Das Konzert in 3 Sätzen in c-Moll basiert sich auf der typisch klassischen Form der Wiener Klassik (der erste Satz ist die Sonatenform, der zweite die Liedform und der dritte das Rondo). Es ist innovativ eine verkürzte polyphone Reprise im ersten Satz und lateinamerikanische Rhythmen im zweiten und dritten Satz (Bossa Nova und Samba) zu verwenden. Alle drei Teile sind thematisch vereint. Das Konzert ist durch seine musikalische Sprache und vielseitige Emotionalität leicht verständlich. Für die Aufführung werden zwei Exemplare benötigt. Für dieses Stück ist eine Orchestrierung verfügbar.

The three-movement Concerto in C minor is based on the typical classical form of the Viennese classical period (the first movement is the sonata form, the second is the ternary form and the third is the rondo). It is innovative to use a shortened polyphonic recapitulation in the first movement and Latin American rhythms in the second and third movements (bossa nova and samba). All three parts are thematically combined. The concert is easy to understand thanks to its musical language and versatile emotionality. Two copies are required for the performance. An orchestration is available for this piece..

The current Book 2 of the piano method Piano Wonder, is continuation of Book 1, where the pianistic, step-by-stepdevelopment is in the foreground. In addition to the necessary music theory (accidentals, the chromatic scale, chord progressions, transposition), many new elements of piano technic (longer phrases, faster tempo, thumb exercises, pedal, Alberti-Bass, etc.) and new forms (Variations, Sonatina) are introduced.

The focus is primarily on folksongs and dances from different countries, helping students to get to know other cultures. Although piano duets are included, compared to Book 1, solo pieces are in the foreground.

Every chapter has specific themes that need to be worked on, ending with written homework for students to reinforce the material. I wish you much joy and success with this book!

The Russian piano method is widespread and recognized worldwide. But what exactly is behind it?

In lessons with beginners in particular, it is very important to pay attention to the correct posture, because it is the first prerequisite for beautiful sound generation. This piano school focuses on the step-by-step development of the most important pianistic techniques by learning delightful pieces. Dry exercises are avoided and the child plunges directly into the world of beautiful sounds.

Each lesson includes topics to be worked on (with the teacher) as well as homework for the student to review what they have learned. Detailed explanations of music theory are not covered in this book, but are left to the teacher. The interaction with the teacher is particularly important here so that the student develops a feeling for rhythm and harmony.

One begins with the so-called "weight game," with the 3rd finger, so that the hand position gets its stability and bent finger joints do not occur. The wrist should be free and flexible. This avoids serious tension right from the start, which is difficult to correct later. With a slight swing of your arm in natural legato between the right and left hand, you get a wonderful feeling of playing. Gradually, staccato and non legato are introduced with all fingers, and then slurs of two and three are introduced with different intonations. Learning the notes is explained through steps and skips.

The book can be supplemented with other books by Oxana Krut, which are structured according to the same principle (“Puppet Theater”, “The Play Carousel” and “In the Royal Castle” are highly recommended).

La méthode du piano russe est reconnue et répandue dans le monde entier. Mais en quoi consiste-t-elle ?

Il est très important de faire attention à la bonne posture, en particulier dans les cours avec des débutants, car c'est la première condition pour une belle génération de son. Cette école de piano se concentre sur le développement étape par étape des techniques pianistiques les plus importantes à travers l'apprentissage de pièces attrayantes.

Les exercices ennuyeux sont évités et l'enfant plonge directement dans le monde des beaux sons.

Chaque leçon comprend des sujets sur lesquels il faut travailler (pour l'enseignant) ainsi que des devoirs permettant à l'élève de revoir ce qu'il a appris. Les explications détaillées du solfège ne sont pas traitées dans ce livre, mais sont laissées à l'enseignant. L'interaction avec l'enseignant est ici particulièrement importante pour que l'élève développe son sens du rythme et de l'harmonie.

On commence par le soi-disant «jeu de poids» avec le 3e doigt, de sorte que la position de la main obtient sa stabilité et que les articulations des doigts pliés ne se produisent pas. Le poignet doit être libre et flexible. Cela évite de sérieuses tensions dès le début, difficiles à corriger par la suite. Avec un léger balancement de votre bras en legato naturel entre la main droite et la main gauche, vous obtenez une merveilleuse sensation de jeu. Graduellement, staccato et non legato sont introduits avec tous les doigts, puis des liaisons de deux et trois avec des intonations différentes sont introduites.

L'apprentissage des notes est expliqué par des étapes et des sauts.

Hier ist das Märchen mit  10 Solo Klavierstücken von Oxana Krut neu und fantasievoll interpretiert. Man kann sie alleine spielen oder mit dem beiliegenden Märchentext (deutsch und englisch) als Klaviertheater aufführen. Spielfreude und Genuss pur!

Der vorliegende Band 2 der Klavierschule „Klavierwunder“ ist die Fortsetzung von Band 1, wo die pianistische, schrittweise Entwicklung im Vordergrund steht. Neben den notwendigen Theoriekenntnissen (Vorzeichen, Chromatische Tonleiter, Hauptfunktionen, Transponieren usw.) werden viele neue Spielelemente der Klaviertechnik (größere Phrasierungen, schnelleres Tempo, Daumenuntersatz, Pedal, Alberti-Bässe usw.) und neue Formen (Variationen, Sonatine) eingeführt.

Im Fokus stehen in erster Linie Volkslieder und Tänze aus verschiedenen Ländern, die dem Schüler ermöglichen andere Kulturen kennenzulernen.  Auch vierhändige Stücke sind dabei, allerdings stehen im Vergleich zu Band 1  Solostücke im Vordergrund.

Die russische Klaviermethodik ist weltweit anerkannt und verbreitet. Was verbirgt sich aber genau dahinter?

Gerade im Unterricht mit Anfängern ist es sehr wichtig auf die richtige Körperhaltung zu achten, weil es die erste Voraussetzung für schöne Klangerzeugung ist. Diese Klavierschule fokussiert sich auf die schrittweise Entwicklung der wichtigsten pianistischen Technik durch das Erlernen von reizvollen Stücken. Trockene Übungen werden vermieden und das Kind taucht direkt in die Welt der schönen Klänge ein.

 Jede Lektion beinhaltet Themen, die erarbeitet werden müssen (für den Lehrer) sowie auch Hausaufgaben für den Schüler, um das Gelernte zu wiederholen. Ausführliche Erklärungen der Musiktheorie werden in diesem Buch nicht durchgenommen, sondern werden dem Lehrer überlassen. Das Zusammenspiel mit dem Lehrer ist hier besonders wichtig, damit der Schüler ein Gefühl für Rhythmus und Harmonie entwickelt.

Man beginnt mit dem sogenannten „Gewichtspiel“ mit dem 3.Finger, damit die Handstellung ihre Stabilität bekommt und durchgebogene Fingergelenke nicht auftreten. Das Handgelenk soll dabei frei und beweglich sein. So vermeidet man gleich am Anfang ernsthafte Verspannungen, die sich später schwer korrigieren lassen. Mit leichtem Armschwung beim natürlichen Legato zwischen rechter und linker Hand bekommt man ein wunderbares Spielgefühl. Allmählich werden staccato und non legato mit allen Fingern eingeführt und danach werden Zweier-und Dreierbögen mit verschiedenen Betonungen vorgestellt.
